Anthony Scaramucci told Stephen Colbert
that Steve Bannon leaks
by Nathan'ette Burdine: August 15, 2017

Late last night, Anthony “The Mooch” Scramucci stopped by the “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” to chit-chat about his short stint at the White House as well as the leakers in the White House.

“The Mooch” told Colbert that there are leakers in the White House. Stephen Colbert just came out and asked “The Mooch” if one of the leakers is none other than “I wanna be the president’s shitty right hand” Steve Bannon.

And The Mooch, being the straight shooting fella that he is, said “Well, I’ve said that…Listen, I’ve been pretty open about that…I said he was. I obviously got caught on tape saying he was.”

“The Mooch” told Colbert that a considerable amount of the leaking is due to folks own selfishness.

According to “The Mooch,” folks in the White House use leaks as a way to get rid of the competition so that they can be in the president’s good graces.

“The Mooch” said to Colbert, “What they do is they go behind each other’s back and they leak things to the press. And they say nasty things about each other to try to destabilize them, or to influence the president’s judgement of them.”

Colbert then asked “The Mooch” if he believed that former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus was also a leaker and “The Mooch” answered yes.

According to “The Mooch,” he and Priebus were all right before “The Mooch” began working at the White House.

“The Mooch” doesn’t know what exactly soured their relationship but he did hint that once he stopped “writing checks” for the Republican National Committee (RNC), which Priebus was a chairman of, things went downhill.

“The Mooch” told Colbert that he doesn’t feel like shit in a cupboard despite his short stint as the White House communications director: “When you take a job like that Stephen, you know that your expiration date is coming. I didn’t think I was going to last too long, but I though I’d last longer than like a carton of milk.”

Although “The Mooch” got fired as soon as he got hired, he will remain one of the most exciting White House communications directors that this country has ever had; even if it only lasted for 11-days.
